ONLINE FARMERS MARKET
Q: Is there a minimum order?
A: Yes. A minimum order of $5 is required.
Q: Is there a delivery fee?
A: Yes. A delivery Fee of $2 will be charged for every order.
Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: Yes! You can pick up any order from our Farm Stand. We'd love to see you in person! If you'd like to pickup at our Farm Stand, please choose that option at checkout.
Q: Do you always offer the same produce?
A: No. Produce availability varies seasonally. Available products will be updated every Sunday by 10 pm.
Q: How should I prepare for my delivery?
A: Deliveries come standard in a plastic bag. Texas weather can be unpredictable so it is recommended to be prepared with the following:
1. Leave an ice chest on your doorstep to receive deliveries.
2. Consider purchasing an insulated bag from the online store for products to be delivered in. Alternatively, you can leave an ice chest on your porch and we will gladly place your order inside.
3. Please let us know if you would like to be notified when your delivery arrives.
Q: Where do you deliver?
A: As a general rule, we deliver within a 10 mile radius around our farm as well as the New Braunfels city limits, Seguin, McQueeney, Marion, Schertz/Cibolo areas; Some San Antonio locations and Austin Farm to Work locations. Check our Where We Deliver for more info. If you are outside these areas, please contact us. Sometimes we can accommodate new areas depending on location.
Q: Do you only sell produce?
A: No! We have partnered with multiple other local businesses to offer a variety of home-grown and home-made products including artisan cheeses, grass fed beef and gourmet pasta and more! Learn more about our partners HERE.
Q: When should I expect my delivery?
A: Most orders must be placed by noon on Tuesdays to receive your order on Thursday afternoon/evening of the same week. Orders after noon on Tuesdays will be delivered Thursday of the following week. Some locations have different delivery times. Please refer to the following for location specific delivery times or go to Where We Deliver for more detailed instructions:
-Seguin/New Braunfels Area orders must be placed by noon on Wednesdays and deliveries will be made on Thursday afternoon/evening of the same week.
-Austin Area orders must be placed by Friday by 5pm in order to receive delivery on Monday of the following week.
-San Antonio Area orders must be placed by Monday noon in order to receive delivery on Tuesday of the same week.
-Navarro ISD orders must be placed by Tuesday noon in order to receive delivery on Wednesday of the same week.
Q: Are there refunds?
A: No. Braune Farms does not issue refunds.
SEASONAL PRODUCE SUBSCRIPTIONS
Q: How do the Produce Subscription work?
A: We offer 2 types of subscription plans. Veggie and Veggie Deluxe. One is delivered weekly and the other every other week. The produce included varies depending on season and availability. You must create an account on our website and then choose the plan that is right for you. We deliver bags on Thursdays. Your subscription will be renewed automatically and billed to your credit/debit card account at the beginning of each subscription period until you cancel the service. The monthly subscription plans are renewed automatically on 30-day intervals. You can cancel your subscription any time in your Account. We do not issue refunds. Q: How many people will one bag feed?
A: 1 bag will feed a family of 2-4 people.
Q: What comes in the bag?
A: Produce bags will contain 6-8 different vegetables & Fruit (when available) of the farmer's choice and be delivered in a Braune Farms insulated bag.
Q: Do you sell at any farmers markets?
A: Yes! We are currently selling at the Pearl Farmers Market o Saturdays and Sundays. Learn more HERE.
FARM TO WORK PROGRAM
Q: How does it work?
A: In our Farm to Work program, we coordinate with businesses to deliver fresh produce to their employees during the work day. See if your workplace offers this program HERE.
